What this app is
Mizen x Claude is a private, internal integration that connects Mizen Studio's own operations tools to Mizen Studio's own QuickBooks Online company. It is used to raise invoices, track which invoices are paid or outstanding, and categorise business expenses. It is not offered, sold or licensed to anyone else.
Who may use it
Use of this app is limited to Mizen Studio and people it authorises. No other business or person may install it, connect it to a QuickBooks company, or use it.
Data
The app only accesses Mizen Studio's own accounting data, and only to run Mizen Studio's own bookkeeping. It requests QuickBooks' accounting permission only and cannot move money. Data it retrieves is processed with the help of an AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) on Mizen Studio's instructions. The app does not sell accounting data, share it with anyone else, or use it to train AI models. See our privacy policy for how personal data is handled.
Connecting
The app is connected through Intuit's own authorisation screen, by an administrator of the QuickBooks company, who can see exactly what access is being granted before approving it.
Disconnecting
Access can be withdrawn at any time, either in QuickBooks (Settings, then Apps, then Mizen x Claude, then Disconnect) or from within the app, which revokes access at Intuit. Once disconnected, the app has no access to QuickBooks data until it is connected again.
No warranty
The app is provided as-is for Mizen Studio's internal use, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Mizen Studio accepts no liability arising from its use.
